Jan. 23—Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report that around 20 rabble-rousers were aggravating people in Kila. The person calling in the report alleged that a man threw pallets and gasoline on a fire and then he and others started shooting firearms at each other and in the caller’s direction, possibly hitting vehicles.

Five horses, three draped in blankets, were running free in Columbia Falls.

Someone calling from Somers told deputies they were pounding on a neighbor’s door trying to let them know their fence was on fire. The fence was about 2 feet from a carport and situated near a tree by powerlines.

A man was allegedly outside a location armed with a shotgun while hallucinating from medication he was taking, according to someone who was headed his way to help.

A woman started speeding to a location after her ex said he was going to beat her brother and had firearms in his truck.

Someone was suspicious of a man in dark clothing who parked a bicycle at a bike rack and walked into an apartment complex at 2:30 a.m.

A frustrated resident called the Columbia Falls Police Department when he spotted a churlish neighbor trespassing on his property and had parked a vehicle in his yard. Before leaving, the man swore at him in a veiled threat.

A man who appeared to be on a cellphone while driving a white Dodge pickup reportedly almost hit a child crossing Talbot Road.
