Food Network star Anne Burrell died at the age of 55. According to TMZ, she was found unresponsive inside her Brooklyn home on Tuesday and was pronounced dead at the scene. A medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.”

“Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile lit up every room she entered,” her family said in a statement. “Anne’s light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.”

Burrell hosted several shows on Food Network, including Worst Cooks in America and Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and also competed on Iron Chef America, Next Iron Chef, and Chopped All-Stars Tournament.
