Nine Inch Nails nabbed Best Rock Song for “As Alive As You Need Me to Be” from the Tron: Ares soundtrack at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday, marking the industrial band’s first Grammy win in 30 years.

Trent Reznor and company weren’t on-hand to accept the honor when it was announced during the Premiere Ceremony. It marked their first win since their live version of “Happiness in Slavery” took home the honor for Best Metal Performance in 1996. Overall, NIN has three wins, with “Wish” also earning Best Metal Performance honors in 1993.

NIN had been nominated nine times since 1996 before finally winning again on Sunday. The band kicks off a new leg of their acclaimed “Peel It Back” tour this Thursday. Pick up tickets here.
