With his beloved Detroit Lions vying for a first-round playoff bye, Dax Shepard didn’t let attending the Golden Globes get in the way of his fandom.
While Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie were onstage presenting the award for Best Animated Picture, Shepard was glued to his phone, which was precariously balanced between his thighs as the Lions took on the Minnesota Vikings.
Clearly unbothered by Shepard’s actions, wife Kristen Bell posted a video on her Instagram Story of him taking in the first half of his team’s vital Sunday Night Football matchup and included “#priorities” in the caption. Watch it below.
The Lions pulled off a 31-9 victory, securing a No. 1 seed in the process.
Shepard’s last film appearance was the 2021 Paw Patrol movie, but has co-hosted the Armchair Expert podcast since 2018. Meanwhile, Bell currently stars in Netflix’s Nobody Wants This.
