Portishead singer Beth Gibbons has announced a spring 2025 North American tour in support of her 2024 debut solo album, Lives Outgrown.
The run serves as Gibbons’ first North American solo tour, as well as her first time touring the region in 13 years; her last outing in the US and Canada was with her band Portishead in 2011. The brief, 11-date tour will begin with her appearance at Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee, and conclude with her pair of appearances at Coachella. Bill Ryder-Jones will open all dates.
The tour properly begins with a March 29th show in Philadelphia, and continues with shows in Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Toronto, Detroit, and Chicago. Gibbons’ last headlining date comes on April 10th in Denver before she heads down to California for Coachella. She’ll also be performing at a variety of 2025 festivals overseas, including Rock Werchter, Down the Rabbit Hole, and Way Out West. See Gibbons’ full list of 2025 tour dates below.
Tickets for Gibbons’ 2025 tour will first be available via an artist pre-sale on Wednesday, January 22nd (sign up via her official website). Meanwhile, a Live Nation pre-sale is running from Thursday, January 23rd at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code OCTAVE). Tickets will then go on sale for the general public on Friday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
Gibbons returned last year with Lives Outgrown, her first album as a solo artist. We named the lead single “Floating on a Moment” Song of the Week upon release, and later included it on our list of the best songs of 2024.
