As it is now, we’re spending a bit more time on our couches instead of in the sand while we continue to practice social distancing. The upside? We’ve had more time to wade through our TBRs—and thank GOD, because this summer has had some truly fire releases. However, our current reads do have us missing something in particular about summers: the beach read.

There’s just something about having our feet in the sand while we devour a fantastic new book, and taking breaks to dive into the water. Well on Day 2658* of quaranlife (*or whatever), we’re trying something new: why not try to fake a beach day at home? Let’s see how this goes…
