Biomutant is an incredibly fun open-world RPG with all of the familiar trappings of the genre wrapped in an extremely appealing package. But is there a way to make it even better? Of course there is, dual-wielding!

The main character of Biomutant is more than capable of unleashing double the action by equipping two weapons at the same time, but players will need to know where to look to unlock the features.

How to Dual Wield Weapons in Biomutant

The titular biomutant at the center of the game can use both melee and ranged weapons, and the good news is, both types can be dual-wielded. However, unless you pick the Saboteur Class, the ability to do this has to be unlocked separately for each weapon type.

The Saboteur Class

As mentioned, choosing the Saboteur Class unlocks the ability to dual-wield right from the start. Players won’t need to unlock dual wielding skills from the Wung-Fu menu. Instead, they’ll be able to pick up two weapons and go to town on bad guys right away.

If the game was pre-ordered, players will have access to the Mercenary Class. This exclusive character class also has the ability to dual wield, and hopefully, it will be unlocked for all players at some point in the future.

Two-Faced Cobra Grip

As players level up their biomutant, they’ll be able to unlock skills. To dual-wield ranged weapons, they should keep an eye out for the ability called Two-Faced Cobra Grip. To find this skill, simply head over to the Ranged Combat sub-menu within the Wung-Fu main menu.

From there, they should head to the Dual Wield Guns tab. Two-Faced Cobra Grip is located here, and once players spend the skill points to unlock it, they’ll be able to head into combat like Lara Croft!

Twin Silver Grip

For players who like to keep combat up close and personal, there is also the option to unlock dual wielding for melee weapons. Like before, players should open up the Wung-Fu menu. This time though, jump to the Close Combat sub-menu and find the Dual Wield Melee tab. Within that tab, they can unlock the Twin Silver Grip skill, which allows dual-wielding of melee weapons. Now players will be able to do their best impression of a Dual Blades user from Monster Hunter.

Biomutant has an impressive array of combat options to go along with a complex crafting system and a massive world. The ability to do a little more carnage with dual-wielding makes this already compelling package just a little sweeter.
