Tom Brady and Irina Shayk’s summer romance didn’t make it through the fall, but its end had more to do with busy schedules than anything else, sources told Entertainment Tonight and Daily Mail.
Entertainment Tonight’s source said, “Tom and Irina’s relationship has cooled off. They had fun together, but it was hard to prioritize each other when they’re both very busy, and it just naturally fizzled out and ran its course.”
“Tom liked Irina, but didn’t see a long-term relationship with her,” the source added. “He really wants to focus on his career and his family.” There are “no hard feelings” between Shayk and Brady or lingering drama, the source said.
Daily Mail’s source had slightly different intel, saying that Brady really did like Shayk and maybe there will be a better time for them to date in the future.
“If Tom had more time for love, he would be all about it and would likely still be dating Irina,” the source said. “He really thinks she is great. But Tom is keeping himself busy with his businesses, being a part of the sports teams he owns, getting ready for his commentating job next year, and being a father. It is busy being Tom Brady, for all that he can do, he can’t make days last 36 hours.”
“Everything he does, he wants to give it 110 percent, he knew he wasn’t able to give his full attention and time to Irina, and she is such a good person, that he didn’t want her to feel less than in his world,” the source continued. “Maybe they will find each other in the future, but right now, it is easier for them to be friends.”
People broke the news of Shayk and Brady’s breakup on October 22. A source said there is no drama.
A second source added, “Irina was very attracted to Tom. She liked dating him. It excited her. They had fun traveling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled.”
“They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time,” the source continued. “Irina has nothing but great things to say about Tom.”
