Ten years ago today, Daughter released Not to Disappear, their excellent sophomore record. The English indie folk trio is celebrating the anniversary with a brand new single called “Not Enough.”

Per a press release, the song was first demoed during the very same sessions for Not to Disappear way back in 2015. Late last year, the group hit up London’s Total Refreshment studio to finally finish the track in earnest. The end result is a potent track that typifies Daughter’s mix of grace, technicality, and deep emotionality.

“‘Not Enough’ didn’t find its place on Not to Disappear but we always loved it — we even played it live a few times before it went back to being a demo buried on a hard drive,” Daughter said in the same statement. They added, “We live in different places now, and some of our recent work has happened remotely, so this felt like old times.”
