GWAR will be joining the video game Mutant Football League 2 via an upcoming DLC titled Antarctica Scumdogs to arrive October 2026.
Mutant Football League 2 is a hyper-violent football game where players must contend with a field riddled with buzzsaws and landmines while dealing with opponent teams consisting of skeletons, orcs, demons, and of course mutants.
Michael Mendheim, president of Digital Dreams Entertainment, said, “MFL fans have been asking me for years, ‘When are you going to get GWAR into the game?’ Well, the wait is finally over. Football just got louder, bloodier, and a whole lot more GWAR. The Antarctica Scumdogs are coming to MFL2, and we’re making damn sure they’re the deadliest team in the game.”

The seven-person team of the Antarctica Scumdogs will consist of Blöthar the Berserker, BälSäc the Jaws ‘O Death, JiZMak Da Gusha, Grodius Maximus, Beefcake the Mighty, Sawborg Destructo, and Bonesnapper. Alongside them will also be a unique stadium steeped in GWAR lore.
Vocalist Blöthar said of the collaboration, “Today, the Antarctica Scumdogs of GWAR take to the frozen tundra of the Mutant Football League, where killing isn’t everything, it’s the ONLY thing! Let the games begin!!”
A playable demo of the team will be available at PAX West in Seattle from September 4th through 7th at Arch Building, Level 4, Booth #853.
