Jennifer Lawrence Paired a Fantastic Blazer With a Sheer Top—and No Pants

It only takes one good blazer to make a look; Jennifer Lawrence proved that much at the Berlin premiere of her new film No Hard Feelings. The actress wore a Givenchy blazer over a sheer top. No pants were needed or included. She accessorized with black high heels and wore her hair in a half updo.

The look follows Lawrence’s nude sweetheart neckline dress by Loewe that she wore in Madrid for the Spanish premiere of No Hard Feelings.

Lawrence spoke about why she took on the role in an interview with Good Morning America earlier this week. I had just had a baby, so I definitely wasn’t planning on working,” Lawrence said. “And I just, I read the script, and it was just too funny. It was the funniest thing I had ever read.”

Lawrence added that she and the director Gene Stupnitsky are friends, and the project was inspired by a Craigslist ad they saw years ago. In the film, Lawrence plays a young, financially-troubled woman who is hired by wealthy helicopter parents to date their introverted 19-year-old son before he leaves for college.

They saw the ad, “about four years ago—the director’s a good friend of mine. We’ve been friends for a long time. And we were getting dinner, and he showed me the Craigslist ad. And I just thought it was hilarious, but I in no way thought I was gonna, like, be in the movie or that—there was no movie. It was just the ad, and we laughed about it. And then four years later, he sent me the script.”
