Austin, Texas, indie-pop duo Hovvdy have announced their new self-titled album and shared its lead single. Hovvdy arrives on April 26 via Arts & Crafts. As for “Forever,” you can check it out below, along with a music video directed by Michael Rees, in which their love song takes flight at a house party.

Hovvdy is the duo’s fifth full-length to date, after 2021’s True Love and the 2022 follow-up EP, Billboard for My Feelings. In a statement, Hovvdy’s Charlie Martin described the LP as tackling tested relationships and familial bonds. “Lots of my songs, in adulthood, deal with looking back and seeing your parents as just individuals struggling through life—and trying to have more empathy or understanding. And now Will [Taylor] is diving in from the opposite side as a new parent, grappling with all that,” he said.

Hovvdy have also announced a handful of new tour dates for this spring that will bring them to Europe. Before that, they’re on the road opening for Cold War Kids across North America, beginning this week on through mid-February. See the band’s complete list of tour dates below.
