Fox’s newest reality TV show Labor of Love is helping 41-year-old bachelorette Kristy Katzmann find the perfect father-to-be. Before indulging in the debut on May 21, here is a brief introduction to the potential dads vying for fatherhood.
With reality dating shows becoming increasingly popular, networks and producers are getting creative with their premises. Netflix has encouraged singles to find love through blind conversation on their series Love Is Blind. The Lifetime Channel has love-seekers meeting at the altar on Married at First Sight and now FOX is jumping straight to parenting with Labor of Love. The eight-part series from producers Howard Owens and Ben Silverman’s Propagate Content follows Kristy on her search to find a potential father for the kid she desires to have.
Throughout the series, the contestants will go on romantic dates with Kristy and be faced with challenges to test their parenting skills as a way of proving they are a good match for the aspiring mother. Alan Santini
