Orlando Bloom Says Baby Daisy Is His ‘Mini-Me’ With Katy Perry’s Blue Eyes

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s daughter Daisy Dove Bloom is just a little over one month old and obviously still developing her looks. But Bloom gave an update to Ellen DeGeneres on her show today about who his daughter resembles so far. It’s been changing, but there’s clear bits of both he and Perry in her.

“Daisy Dove, my little mini-me/mini my mum/mini Katy,” Bloom started. “Yes, the eyes do look like her, but it was funny because when she first came out it was like, ‘oh, it’s me. it’s a mini me,’ and then fortunately she got those Katy blues, which was perfect. But then she sort of looked like a bit like my mum so then I got a little bit confused because Katy’s breast feeding this mini-me/my mum/who’s she going to look like next?”

Bloom added that Daisy is sleeping through the night. He chants to her—both now and when she was in the womb—and admits “it’s like I’m a baby whisperer.”

But in terms of sleep schedule, “She is [sleeping through the night]. It’s always a process…she’s now at a baby weight and she’s sleeping like, from 9 [PM] until 6 [AM], 9 until 7 [AM], which is a blessing.” Bloom admitted that even he doesn’t sleep as soundly as his little Daisy does. “I wish for that. I’m still up at 4 in the morning.”

This marks the first interview either Bloom or Perry has given about their daughter, by the way:
